The Mecenate Palace Hotel Rome comprises two adjacent buildings: the one by Rinaldi overlooking Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore dates from 1887 the other on via Carlo Alberto was built a few years later. Renovation work was carefully planned to restore the building's facades and the romantic interiors to their original splendour. The Mecenate Palace has created new executive rooms in the building adjoining the hotel. These newly renovated rooms boast modern amenities that are ideal for both business and leisure travelers such as DSL Internet access.The hardwoos floors cool colored fabrics, flat screen TVs, and modern artwork give the ten rooms contemporary look and feel. Five of the rooms have kitchenettes which are perfect for long stays.
